Effective yesterday morning, I reported for duty to a new management structure -- doing different work from what I have been doing for the past 6+ years. I'm still with the same employer at the same site, but now I'm in a completely different building. Instead of caring for 220+ computers as I was previously, my new role is to assist taking care of 5,000+ on-site, which will eventually expand to many thousands off-site.
I expect this to have an impact on my blogging and sailing activities, but time will tell as to the extent.
