There is some kind of construction going everywhere in Blacksburg right now. I found this hardware at Virginia Tech parking lot. There wasn't lot going here in terms of weather. It was overcast day with barely any cloud patterns. In process of extracting details, I might have overdone this picture. I have attached both before and after processing, you can decide.
In this image different adjustments were applied to different parts. There are lot of ways to do selective selection but I used "Color Range," which is perfect for selecting areas with a similar color.

Here is the original picture, you can see there is a lot of difference between these two images. That is one of the reason why I enjoy doing HDR Photography.

This picture was taken using a tripod at three exposures (0, -2, +2ev) at f6.7 at 19mm, ISO 100 with Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4.5. Then I used Photomatix to create a HDR image. I also added finishing touch in Photoshop.
