I spotted this eating area/lounge at Union Station, Washington DC. You are not allowed to use tripod to take pictures inside the station. Its been a while since I took a picture without using tripod, felt like a handicap. This was the last picture of the morning then followed by long walk to my car on the other side of Jefferson Memorial.


Wiki says - Union Station is the grand ceremonial train station designed to be the entrance to Washington, D.C., when it opened in 1907. It is one of the busiest and best-known places in Washington, D.C., visited by 32 million people each year. The terminal is served by Amtrak, MARC and VRE commuter railroads, and the Washington Metro transit system of buses and subway trains. The facility serves as the headquarters of Amtrak.
This picture was taken hand-held at three exposures (0, -2, +2ev) at f2.8 at 21mm, ISO 100 with Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4.5. Then I used Photomatix to create a HDR image. I also added finishing touch in Photoshop.
