It’s been a while since I posted anything. The last two months have been a fun ride— a lot of 5 hour energy drinks, a couple of sleepless nights and pictures here and there. Actually photography maintained the balance between insane and sane. I am pretty close to being done with my thesis, hopefully now only few edits. I made this video a couple of weeks ago, nothing fancy. I have also posted coupled of pictures here. I was very fortunate to visit all these places. Here is the list.
I had the opportunity to walk alongside thousands of bison at Badlands, see four presidents carved in the Black Hills of South Dakota, climb the Rocky Mountains, climb and stand on top of tallest sand dunes in North America, stand next to largest single stem tree, hike to the top of a volcanic mountain, touch persistently clear Crater Lake, hike Half Dome, drive many long winding scenic drives, and much more.
I have a bunch of good stories I wanted to share from this trip but I am tired. Tired of writing, tired of my screen, tired of my playlist, I need a vacation. This experience was really important to me in terms of photography. I used to consider myself more of hiker but during this trip I became more of photographer. I purchased my first DSLR around mid May then I went on this trip in July. I had very little knowledge about my new camera and photography but this trip brought us together. Now photography is more than a hobby.
It’s my favorite American Holiday this weekend. Happy Independence Day!!
